Many were painted alongside local residents, so the scenes lean into neighbourhood life and Basque history rather than generic street art.
The whole thing is free. The murals are on public walls, the old town is free to walk from edge to edge, and a self-guided loop ties them together in an afternoon. It pairs well with the other no-cost old-town sights: the arcaded Los Arquillos, the central Plaza de la Virgen Blanca, and the Old Cathedral of Santa Maria at the top of the hill.
