Dolmen de Viera is a corridor dolmen from roughly 3000 BCE and the quieter companion to Dolmen de Menga on the eastern edge of Antequera. Menga wins on raw scale, but Viera wins on craft: a long, narrow passage of carefully squared slabs leading to a small chamber, with twin portal stones at the doorways, and an orientation that lets the rising sun reach deep inside near the equinoxes.
The budget headline is simple. Both dolmens belong to the same UNESCO-listed Antequera Dolmens Site, share one visitor center and car park, and cost nothing to enter. Add the free viewpoint at the Alcazaba of Antequera, the Roman Baths of Antequera, and the strange tilted profile of Pena de los Enamorados over the plain, and you have a full day in Antequera without paying an admission fee.
