The Triple Bridge (Tromostovje) is a group of three bridges spanning the Ljubljanica River at the entrance to the old town, designed by the architect Joze Plecnik. Free. The central bridge was the original, and Plecnik added two pedestrian bridges on either side in the 1930s. Budget travelers cross it multiple times a day without noticing, because it connects the modern center to the historic core so naturally.

An Art Nouveau bridge guarded by four copper dragon statues, the unofficial symbol of Ljubljana. Built in 1901, it was one of the first reinforced concrete bridges in Europe. The dragons have become the city's mascot. Located one bridge east of the Triple Bridge, connecting the market area to the Metelkova district.
