The classic view of Cesky Krumlov, with the castle tower, the church spire, and the red rooftops reflected in the Vltava bend, is visible from several free viewpoints along the river and from the castle garden terrace. Free. In summer, kayakers and rafters float through the scene below. Budget travelers find the viewpoint from the castle garden, take the photograph, and then walk down to the riverbank where the perspective reverses.
