Cesky Krumlov Old Town
The old town of Cesky Krumlov is a UNESCO-listed medieval center wrapped in a bend of the Vltava River, with narrow lanes, painted facades, and small squares. Free to walk. The entire town is small enough to cover on foot in an hour, but the detail in the architecture and the setting on the river invite a slower pace. Cesky Krumlov Castle
Cesky Krumlov Castle is the second-largest castle complex in the Czech Republic after Prague Castle, sprawling across six connected courtyards above the town. The round tower covered in Renaissance sgraffito is the town's visual identity. The Baroque theater inside with original 17th-century machinery is one of the rarest surviving examples in Europe.
