Sniper Tower
The Sniper Tower is a bombed-out former bank building on the Boulevard, still standing as an unofficial war memorial covered in graffiti and street art. Free to see from outside (entering the unstable structure is not officially permitted but some do). The tower is a raw reminder of the 1993 siege. Budget travelers walk the Boulevard, see the bullet holes in surrounding buildings, and understand that Mostar’s beauty coexists with recent trauma.
