Rose Garden
The Rose Garden (Giardino delle Rose) is a terraced garden on the hillside below Piazzale Michelangelo, with over 350 varieties of roses and contemporary sculptures by Jean-Michel Folon. Free. The garden is open year-round and offers the same panoramic view as Piazzale Michelangelo but with fewer crowds. Budget travelers walk up through the Rose Garden on the way to the Piazzale and get two free viewpoints on the same climb.
