Radcliffe Camera
The Radcliffe Camera is a circular domed library building in Radcliffe Square, the most photographed building in Oxford. Free to admire from outside (the interior is a university reading room, not open to visitors). The surrounding square, with the Bodleian Library on one side and the Church of St Mary the Virgin on the other, is one of the most architecturally dense free spaces in England. Budget travelers stand in the square and look at a building that defines what an English university looks like in the global imagination.
