Praca do Comercio
Praca do Comercio is the grand waterfront square at the southern end of the Baixa district, framed on three sides by yellow arcaded buildings and open on the fourth to the Tagus. The triumphal arch at the northern edge connects the square to Rua Augusta. The square is free to enjoy, and the steps down to the water are a popular spot for sitting and watching the river. It feels like the front door of Lisbon.
