Neapolis Archaeological Park
The Neapolis Archaeological Park contains a Greek theater (still used for performances), a Roman amphitheater, the Ear of Dionysius (a limestone cave with remarkable acoustics), and the Altar of Hieron II. Entry is paid at a modest price. The Greek theater is one of the largest surviving in the world. Budget travelers pay the ticket and see the site where Aeschylus premiered his plays.
