Mykonos Windmills
The Mykonos Windmills are a row of 16th-century whitewashed windmills on a low hill above the harbor, the most iconic image of the island. Free. The windmills are best photographed from Little Venice below or from the path above. Budget travelers visit at sunset when the windmills are backlit against the sea and the light turns the white stone gold.
