Miradouro de Santa Luzia
Miradouro de Santa Luzia is a tiled terrace viewpoint in the upper Alfama with bougainvillea, blue and white azulejo tile panels, and views over the terracotta rooftops to the Tagus River. Free. The terrace is smaller and more intimate than the larger miradouros and decorated with tile scenes of pre-earthquake Lisbon. Budget travelers sit on the terrace, photograph the river through the rooftops, and add one more free viewpoint to their Lisbon collection.
