Mercat de Sant Antoni
The Mercat de Sant Antoni is a beautifully renovated iron market hall on the border between El Raval and the Eixample, less touristy than La Boqueria and with a second-hand book and coin market on Sundays. Free to enter. The market reopened in 2018 after a major renovation that uncovered a section of the medieval city wall (visible through a glass floor). Budget travelers buy groceries here, browse the Sunday book market, and eat at the market bar for half the price of La Boqueria.
