Bunkers del Carmel
The Bunkers del Carmel are the remains of a Spanish Civil War anti-aircraft battery on a hilltop in the Carmel neighborhood. Free. The 360-degree panorama covers the entire city from the Sagrada Familia to the sea, with Montjuic and Tibidabo on opposite horizons. Locals come at sunset with wine and blankets. Budget travelers make the hike (or take a bus partway) and get what many consider the best free viewpoint in Barcelona.
