Scenic route in Fethiye
The Lycian Way is a 540-kilometer waymarked trail along the Turkish coast from Fethiye to Antalya, passing ancient Lycian ruins, beaches, and mountain villages. Free to hike. Budget travelers do not need to walk the full trail. Day sections from Fethiye (like the Butterfly Valley trail or the Kayakoy ghost village walk) give a taste of the route in 2-4 hours. One of the best free hiking experiences in the Mediterranean.
