Bridge of Lies
The Bridge of Lies (Podul Minciunilor) is a small iron bridge connecting the upper and lower parts of Sibiu’s old town. Free to cross. Local legend says the bridge will collapse if someone tells a lie while standing on it. It was the first cast-iron bridge in Romania (1859). Budget travelers cross the bridge, tell the truth, and photograph the view of the lower town and the Lutheran Cathedral from the railing.
