Torre del Oro

The Torre del Oro is a 13th-century Almohad watchtower on the banks of the Guadalquivir, once part of the city’s defensive walls. Entry to the small naval museum inside is a modest fee (free on Mondays). The tower itself is best viewed from outside along the river promenade. Budget travelers walk the riverbank between the Torre del Oro and the Puente de Isabel II and enjoy the best free waterfront walk in Seville.
