The Alameda de Hercules is a long tree-lined promenade in the north of the old town, flanked by Roman columns and surrounded by bars, restaurants, and live music venues. Free. The Alameda is where Sevillanos go in the evening, away from the tourist center. Drink prices are lower than in Santa Cruz, and the atmosphere on warm nights is quintessentially Andalusian. Budget travelers drink here instead of the cathedral area and save enough for a second round.
