Budget travelers walk the full length in about 45 minutes and pass more free entertainment per kilometer than anywhere else in London. Start at the London Eye for the best free view across to Westminster and Big Ben, stop at Tate Modern where the main collection is free, cross the Millennium Bridge to St Paul’s, and finish at Tower Bridge. With the Borough Market food stalls just off the path, the whole day can cost nothing beyond what you choose to eat.
