St Anne’s Church in Shandon has a tower with the famous Shandon Bells that visitors can ring themselves. The tower climb is paid at a modest price. The view from the top covers the entire city and the Lee Valley. The red and white limestone tower (each side a different color) is Cork’s most recognizable landmark. Budget travelers pay the small fee, ring the bells, and see Cork from the only true viewpoint in the city.
