Santorini Caldera Path
The caldera path is a walking trail that follows the volcanic rim from Fira through Firostefani and Imerovigli toward Oia. Free. The views down into the caldera, across to the volcanic islands, and along the cliff-edge villages are constant and spectacular. The full hike from Fira to Oia takes about 3 hours. Budget travelers walk the path instead of paying for a boat tour and see Santorini from its most dramatic angle.
