The Santiago Bernabeu is the home of Real Madrid, one of the most successful football clubs in the world. Stadium tours are paid. The stadium is currently undergoing major renovation (retractable roof, 360-degree screen). Budget travelers check the current tour availability, photograph the stadium from outside (free), and attend a match if one coincides with their visit (cheapest tickets for league matches start at affordable prices if bought early). For many visitors, the Bernabeu is as important as the Prado.
