Pont de Pierre
The Pont de Pierre is Bordeaux’s oldest bridge, a 17-arch stone bridge across the Garonne built on Napoleon’s orders. Free to cross. The bridge offers views of the Place de la Bourse, the Water Mirror, and the Bordeaux riverfront. At night, the bridge and the waterfront are illuminated. Budget travelers cross at dusk and photograph the reflected lights on the river. The bridge is pedestrianized and one of the most pleasant free evening walks in Bordeaux.
