Place de la Bourse and Miroir d'Eau
Place de la Bourse is a grand 18th-century square facing the Garonne River, with the Miroir d’Eau (Water Mirror) in front of it: the world’s largest reflecting pool, a thin sheet of water that alternates between mirror and mist effects. Free. The Water Mirror is best at sunset when the square’s facade reflects in the water. Budget travelers visit at dusk and photograph one of the most spectacular free urban installations in Europe.
