Beach in San Sebastian

Playa de la Zurriola

Playa de la Zurriola is San Sebastian’s surfing beach east of the Kursaal, wilder and younger in atmosphere than La Concha. Free. The waves are consistent enough for beginners and the beach is popular with local surfers and students. Surf lessons are available at moderate prices from the surf schools on the beach. Budget travelers swim or surf for free and eat cheap pintxos in the Gros neighborhood behind the beach.
