Piazza dei Miracoli
The Piazza dei Miracoli (Field of Miracles) is a UNESCO-listed complex of white marble buildings: the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Camposanto cemetery, and the Leaning Tower, all set on a vast green lawn. The piazza and the Cathedral interior are free. The Tower climb, Baptistery, and Camposanto are paid separately or as combo tickets. Budget travelers enter the Cathedral for free, photograph the Tower from the lawn, and decide whether to climb (paid, must book ahead).
