Miradouro da Vitoria
Miradouro da Vitoria is a viewpoint terrace on the Porto city side (not the Gaia side), tucked into the hillside between the Clerigos Tower and the Ribeira. Free. The view covers the Dom Luis I Bridge, the Douro River, and the port wine cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia from above. Budget travelers find it by following the steep lanes downhill from the Clerigos area and get one of the best free panoramas in Porto from a spot most visitors walk past.
