Miradouro da Serra do Pilar
The Miradouro da Serra do Pilar is a viewpoint at the Monastery of Serra do Pilar on the Gaia side of the Douro, directly above the Dom Luis I Bridge. Free. The view covers the entire Ribeira waterfront, the bridge, the port wine cellars, and the river bend. Budget travelers walk up from the Jardim do Morro and get the most complete free panorama of Porto from the highest point on the Gaia riverbank.
