Park in Seville

Maria Luisa Park

Maria Luisa Park is the large public garden adjoining Plaza de Espana, with shaded paths, fountains, tiled benches, and ponds full of ducks. Free. The park was designed for the 1929 exposition and still has its pavilions and decorative elements intact. Budget travelers use it as a cool retreat from the Seville heat, bringing a picnic and sitting on the ceramic benches beneath the orange trees.
