Promenade in Zurich

Lake Zurich Promenade

The Lake Zurich promenade runs along the eastern shore of the lake from the opera house to the Zurichhorn park, with views of the Alps on clear days. Free. Swimming areas along the lake are free in summer. Budget travelers walk the promenade, swim in the lake, and enjoy one of the few free activities in one of the world’s most expensive cities.
