Klein Venedig

Klein Venedig (Little Venice) is a row of half-timbered fishermen’s houses along the Regnitz River, their colorful facades reflected in the water. Free to see from the opposite bank or from the bridges. The view from the Untere Brucke (Lower Bridge) toward the Rathaus bridge is one of the most photographed in Franconia. Budget travelers stand on the bridge and photograph a scene that has not fundamentally changed in 500 years.
