Bamberg Cathedral is a Romanesque and Gothic church on the Domberg hill, housing the only tomb of a pope (Clement II) north of the Alps and the mysterious Bamberg Horseman (an anonymous 13th-century equestrian statue that no one has definitively identified). Free to enter.
Klein Venedig (Little Venice) is a row of half-timbered fishermen's houses along the Regnitz River, their colorful facades reflected in the water. Free to see from the opposite bank or from the bridges.
