Guadalquivir River Walk
The Guadalquivir River promenade runs along both banks of the river through Seville, connecting the Torre del Oro to the Triana Bridge to the Isla de la Cartuja. Free. The Triana side (Calle Betis) has the best sunset views back to the old town. The Cartuja side has the Calatrava bridges and the Expo ‘92 grounds. Budget travelers walk from Torre del Oro across to Triana, drink a cheap rebujito (sherry and lemonade) at a riverside bar, and watch the sun set over the city that invented the concept of a paseo.
