The colorful fishing harbor is the social center of this small Gaeltacht town on the tip of the Dingle Peninsula. Walking along the quayside watching fishing boats unload their catch is free.

Gallarus Oratory
This perfectly preserved early Christian stone church has stood watertight for over 1,200 years without mortar. The oratory itself is free to visit if you park on the road and walk in. The corbelled stone construction technique is the same used in the beehive huts on the Skellig Islands.
