Cube Houses
The Cube Houses (Kubuswoningen) are a cluster of tilted cube-shaped houses designed by Piet Blom, perched on hexagonal pylons above the Blaak station. Free to photograph and walk beneath. One cube is open as a show house for a small fee. The houses are next to the Markthal and the old harbor. Budget travelers visit both in the same 30 minutes and see why Rotterdam is the architecture capital of the Netherlands.
