Brno Ossuary
The Brno Ossuary beneath the Church of St James is the second-largest ossuary in Europe (after the Paris Catacombs), containing the bones of over 50,000 people. Entry is paid at a modest price. The ossuary was discovered during renovation in 2001 and opened to the public in 2012. Budget travelers pay the cheap ticket and descend into a vast underground space that most visitors to the Czech Republic never learn about because they stop in Prague.
