Sound of Music Tour Salzburg

The Sound of Music Tour by Panorama Tours is one of the most famous guided tours in Europe. A half-day bus tour visiting the filming locations from the 1965 movie, including Mirabell Gardens, Leopoldskron Palace, the Nonnberg Abbey viewpoint, and the church in Mondsee. NoCostNomad does not pretend this is a budget activity. But for many visitors, this IS Salzburg. It has been running for decades and is not going anywhere. Budget travelers who want to skip it should at least know it exists, because their hostel roommates will be talking about it.
