The Sarajevo Multi-Faith Walk is a self-guided route connecting four houses of worship from four religions within 500 meters of each other in the city center. Free. Start at the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, walk to the Catholic Sacred Heart Cathedral, continue to the Old Orthodox Church, and finish at the Ashkenazi Synagogue (exterior). No other city in Europe has this concentration of religious buildings from different faiths in such a small area. Budget travelers walk the route in under an hour and experience the interfaith coexistence that defined Sarajevo for centuries.
