Walk in Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik Old Town Circuit

The Dubrovnik Old Town Circuit is a self-guided walk through and around the walled city, combining the main street with the quieter backstreets and the exterior wall perimeter. Free (the city wall walk itself is paid, but this route stays at ground level). Start on the Stradun, explore the side streets and churches, exit through the Ploce Gate, walk the outside of the walls along the cliffs to Fort Lovrijenac, and re-enter through the Pile Gate. Budget travelers get the full experience of the old town without the wall ticket, saving the walls for those who can afford the splurge.
