Town in Croatia

Trogir

1 thing to see

Trogir is a tiny UNESCO island town connected to the mainland by a bridge, easily explored in half a day as a free side trip from Split. The whole compact old town is free to wander: marble lanes, the cathedral square, and the seafront promenade along the Riva cost nothing. Local buses from Split make it one of the cheapest day trips on the Dalmatian coast. Come in late spring or early autumn for warm weather without peak-season crowds or prices.
