City in Poland
3 things to see
The canal-laced “Polish Venice” runs along the Brda River with a waterfront district of restored granaries and genuine local life untouched by tourism. Strolling the riverfront and the old market square costs nothing, and Bydgoszcz carries some of the lowest urban prices in Poland, which keeps food and beds cheap. It sits close to the Gothic old town of Torun and works as a quiet, walkable stop on the way between Gdansk and Poznan.
