Square in Wroclaw

Wroclaw Market Square

Wroclaw’s Market Square (Rynek) is one of the largest in Europe, surrounded by colorful townhouses and anchored by the Gothic Town Hall. Free. The square hosts Christmas markets in winter and open-air events in summer. Budget travelers walk the square, hunt for the bronze dwarf sculptures hidden around the city (over 300 of them, free scavenger hunt), and eat at the cheap milk bars (bar mleczny) on the side streets.
