Amusement park in Copenhagen

Tivoli Gardens

Tivoli Gardens is the second-oldest operating amusement park in the world, opened in 1843 in the heart of Copenhagen. Entry is paid, with rides costing extra. The gardens, the illuminated pathways, and the atmosphere at night are the main draw. Budget travelers visit on cheaper weekday evenings or during the off-season when tickets drop. The park inspired Walt Disney, and the landscaping alone is worth the entrance fee even without riding anything.
