Viewpoint in Bergen

Stoltzekleiven

Stoltzekleiven is a steep stone staircase of 908 steps climbing from the city center to a viewpoint on Sandviksfjellet mountain. Free. The climb takes about 30 minutes and connects to the Floyen trail network at the top. The view from the summit rivals the Floyen funicular viewpoint. Budget travelers hike up Stoltzekleiven for free (instead of paying the Floyen funicular) and walk across to Floyen to descend, getting both viewpoints in one loop.
