This iron pedestrian bridge from 1869 connects the old town to the Sachsenhausen district and delivers the definitive Frankfurt skyline panorama. Free to cross day or night, the bridge is loaded with love locks and offers the best sunset photo spot in the city.
The Museumsufer (Museum Embankment) is a stretch of the Main River south bank with 13 museums in a row, several of which are free or have free days. The Stadel Museum (paid) and the German Film Museum (paid) are the highlights.
