Bridge in Rimini
The Ponte di Tiberio is a five-arch Roman bridge completed in 21 AD under Emperor Tiberius, still carrying road traffic after 2,000 years. Free to cross and photograph. The bridge spans the Marecchia River at the northern edge of the old town. Budget travelers cross a bridge that was built when Jesus was alive and is still doing its job.

Rimini is known for its Adriatic beach, but the old town behind it is a compact area with a Roman arch (Arco d'Augusto), a Roman bridge (Ponte di Tiberio, free to cross and still in use after 2,000 years), and the Tempio Malatestiano (a Renaissance church designed by Leon Battista Alberti, free to enter). Federico Fellini was born here.
