Historisches Rathaus (Peace Hall)

The Gothic town hall’s Friedenssaal (Peace Hall) is where the Peace of Westphalia was signed in 1648, ending the Thirty Years’ War. Entry to the hall costs a very small fee. The carved wood paneling and original delegate portraits make it feel like stepping into a history textbook.
