Danish King's Garden
The Danish King’s Garden is a small terraced garden on the slope between the Upper and Lower towns, tucked against the medieval city wall and the Kiek in de Kok tower. Free. Legend says this is where the Danish flag fell from the sky during the 1219 Battle of Lyndanisse. The garden offers close views of the wall towers and a quiet place to sit between the two levels of the Old Town. Budget travelers pass through it on the walk between Toompea and the Lower Town and stop for the view and the legend.
