The Clifton Suspension Bridge is Brunel’s iconic iron bridge spanning the Avon Gorge 75 meters above the river. Free to cross on foot. The bridge is best photographed from the Leigh Woods side (free parking and walking trails). Budget travelers walk across and look down into the gorge, then walk back through the elegant Georgian terraces of Clifton village.
