Trinity College is Ireland's oldest university, founded in 1592, and the campus grounds are free to enter. The cobblestone Parliament Square, the Campanile, and the 18th-century buildings form one of the most beautiful university settings in Europe.
St Stephen's Green is a Victorian public park at the south end of Grafton Street, with a lake, bandstand, formal gardens, and mature trees. Free.
Grafton Street is Dublin's main pedestrian shopping street, running from Trinity College to St Stephen's Green. Free to walk.
